STANDARD Bank Namibia’s top motor dealers described the recent Arctic Challenge extravaganza to Iceland as the best adventure ever.

The nine top performing winning sales people who undertook this international trip were Sansi Thirion (Novel Motor Company), Hannes Engelbrecht (Gobabis Toyota), Bernice Bessinger (Autohaus Master Cars), Stanley Kali (Samuel Pupkewitz GWM), Janice Isaaks (M&Z Motors), Johan de Vos (Von Baums Motors), Jaco Barnard (Select Cars), Martin Willem (Indongo Toyota) and Bianca Gaven (Zimmermann Garage). They were accompanied by Standard Bank Namibia’s Vehicle and Asset Finance New Business Manager Eugene Junius.

After experiencing first hand an exhilarating ten days excursion to the world’s  last frontiers with 4×4 vehicles earlier this month, the dealers were all to happy to share their story.

“It was the best trip I’ve ever! This was indeed a once in life time opportunity and Standard Bank Namibia treated us to a complete package. I am even thinking of thinking of taking my family to Iceland one day,” said Hannes Engelbrecht from Gobabis Toyota.

Despite the 17 hour flight and cold weather temperatures, the dealers we all too pleased to have been given the opportunity to enjoy themselves to the fullest.

“I had an absolute blast because Standard Bank Namibia really out did themselves and spoiled us to the maximum,” said Sansi Thirion from Novel Motor Company, who were one of the 4 women sales people in the group. “This was my first trip outside Africa and as salespeople we really do appreciate this gesture from Standard Bank Namibia,” added Stanley Kali of Pupkewitz GWM.

Early this month, nine of Standard Bank Namibia’s prestigious motor dealers were treated to the Arctic Challenge as part of the Iceland Adventure campaign.

During their excursion to conquer the last frontiers, the nine most prestigious performers travelled primitive style with 4X4 vehicles on rugged terrain on snow and over one of the largest volcanic craters in the world. On the way back dealers spend an exotic night over in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

The latest trip was a way for Standard Bank Namibia to thank its best performing motor dealers and sales people for a productive period this year. Standard Bank Namibia’s VAF Arctic Challenge campaign was held from the 1st of September 2012 to the 31st of July 2013.

Next year’s campaign is called “Paradise Island Phuket” around Thailand and Singapore. During this trip the bank’s best sales people and their partners will be going for an exotic excursion to experience two days of shopping and relaxation.
