The change in the rain pattern this year means that Namibians should once again adapt to living in arid conditions.

As Namibia joins the world in celebrating World Water Day today, the year seems drier than during the same time in 2006, when the country received the best rainfall ever recorded.

This year’s international theme for World Water Day is “Coping with Water Scarcity”.
