Excitement is mounting as the College of the Arts approaches its 2007 Music Festival which takes place tonight and tomorrow evening at the National Theatre.
The concerts are directed by Daniel Klajner, an internationally acclaimed European conductor. The annual Music Festival provides a showcase of the very best students from the College of t0he Arts. Its aim is to promote local talent while maintaining international standards of excellence. It encourages students to strive to perform with a symphony orchestra, a platform which very few would otherwise achieve.
The College of the Arts is deeply indebted to the Franco Namibian Cultural Centre and Bank Windhoek, main sponsors of this event, as well as our other sponsors, the German Embassy, Piano Craft, Ministry of Youth, National Service, Sport & Culture and the Parents Committee of the College of the Arts.
