As part of the first Tulipamwe Empowerment Project to be held in August, local and international artists will work together in a rural set-up in a creative exploration process.
This was announced by the art organisation’s founder member, professor Hercules Viljoen, who invited Namibian artists to take part in the process.
“While emphasis is on artists’ creative exploration, Tulipamwe aims to encourage a view of the artist as someone who gives by sharing knowledge and creative skills.
The idea for the project is to invite a group of Namibian and international artists to work in a rural community for a period of 14 days,?
