President Hifikepunye Pohamba is scheduled to leave for Japan next week on Sunday accompanied by First Lady Penehupifo Pohamba.
The Head of State’s three-day visit seeks to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
The visit starts on October 14.
The President is expected to pay a courtesy call on the royal family, the Emperor and Empress of Japan. He will also hold a meeting with Mr Yasuo Fukuda, Prime Minister of Japan.
