Born and bred in Windhoek, in 1995 my Matric year, I became paralysed as a result of a car accident.
After one year of getting used to the idea of being a paraplegic, I realised that I should start to make some choices – which is either to sit in the wheelchair and pity myself or to make something positive of my life.
I started working as a volunteer at the Change of Lifestyle Home’s Project, which is a safe house for awaiting trial juveniles.
I overcame my fear by becoming the first-ever Namibian who reached the 1???_?_’???_?’???_???
