Namibia is set to see the opening of a new uranium exploration mine in early 2011.
This comes after mining focussed exploration company, Extract Resources, recently announced its plans to commission the mine. The exploration programme is at an advanced stage.
Extract Resources’ main asset is the Husab Uranium Project located 40 km east of the coastal town of Swakopmund in the Erongo Region.
