As the saying goes – one man’s death is another’s bread.
Following confirmation of the death of champion racing horse Moskoywa of Joggie van Wyk, several horse owners and jockeys will be looking forward to crown a new champion during the coming festive season at Swakopmund.
It was earlier wrongly reported that King’s Lodge of Vince Christiaans died while it was indeed Moskoywa who died.
All roads lead to the coastal town of Swakopmund for the annual edition of the Coastal Horse Racing Championship sponsored by Tafel Lager.
The event gets under way at the Swakopmund Race Course with an expected field of 13 starters in the 10 different categories where the main event promises to call the early favourites Otto’s Den, Iris Assembly and Polar Pistol into early action around the final turn.
