“We have reached a pivotal point in our country where we can no longer sit by and allow this to happen to our women and girls.
We have seen a few campaigns, programs and activities being implemented by the Government and
Civil Society Organisations. However, more still needs to be done. No one entity or institution can solve this by themselves. Therefore, I call on others to join in such efforts. If we are to truly to end all forms of violence and discrimination against women and girls in Namibia, then only, can we as Namibians say that we have achieved Gender Equality. And in keeping up with the Harambe Prosperity Plan and Sustainable Development Goals “No one should be left behind” and we should all work together”.
