Namibia’s IBO Super Bantamweight world champion Paulus ‘The Rock’ Ambunda has promised to teach Mexico’s incumbent WBA Super Bantamweight world champion Moises ‘Chucky’ Flores a lesson when they lock horns on Saturday night for their unification super fight.

The WBA/IBO super fight is slated for the spacious Ramatex Hall on Saturday in the capita, and will see Flores fighting in Africa for the first time in what has been billed a “Super Fight” in global boxing.

Ambunda, also a former WBO Bantamweight world champion, has 25 fights to his credit that include 24 wins and one defeat, while Flores boasts a clean record of 24 wins from the same number of bouts in the paid ranks.

The answer the boxing world is looking for in the June 11 bout is whether Flores will taste his first defeat and surrender his WBA world belt and whether Ambunda will become a unified world champion by capturing both belts.

“I’m well prepared for the fight and ready to rumble. I’ve waited for this fight for some time now and can’t wait to deliver what I promised my fans. Come Saturday, someone must fall, but I highly doubt that someone will be me, because there is no way I will fall. So, it obviously has to Flores,” Ambunda cautioned.

“I’m inviting fans and all boxing lovers to come witness one of the biggest fights in Namibian boxing history and I promise to deliver a great show. This is my time and I’m ready to take both titles come Saturday.”

VIP tickets cost N$500, general tickets cost N$100 and VVIP tables are going for N$20 000 each. Tickets are available at all Computicket outlets.
