Pohamba Penomwenyo Shifeta was born on March 27, 1968.
Legislative profile
Shifeta has been a Member of Parliament since 2005. Since March 2015 he has been serving as the Minister of Environment and Tourism, after having previously served as deputy minister of the same ministry since 2012. He also served as deputy minister of youth, national service, sport and culture (2005–2012).

Shifeta has a Diploma in Public Administration. He has a BA degree in Political Sciences and he holds an LLB Honours.
