Home Youth Corner St Barnabas PS donates to learner who lost her two legs

Windhoek

Teachers and parents from the St Barnabas Primary School on Monday visited the six-year-old Rejoice Kandukira in the Paramount Healthcare Centre where she has been making a speedy recovery after losing her two legs when she was ran over by a car in Kamberipa Street in Katutura in Windhoek recently.

On the occasion they handed over N$4425 to her. They said they miss Kandukira who is a learner at the school waiting for her to go back to school. “We will welcome you and take good care of you and love you more,” said one of the teachers. The School Board chairperson, James Hamoonga, said they decided to visit the learner because the accident didn’t only affect the Kandurika family but the school too.
