WINDHOEK – MTC Premiership log leaders African Stars coach Woody Jacobs is gunning for a double, as his side prepares to take on rivals Orlando Pirates in the second semifinals of the 2015 Bidvest Namibia Cup at the Sam Nujoma Stadium on Saturday.

African Stars are currently the only team since 2010 to have won a cup competition and league title, and Jacobs is determined to bring back double glory to the Katutura giants.

“It was Stars that won the last double in 2010 and I want to help the team to make it again. It won’t be easy facing Pirates on Saturday. They are a big team and will want to go as far as possible as well. We have the players and why should we disappoint now after coming this far? We will prepare to the best of our abilities and try to see us through to the final,” Jacobs says.

“The stage is set and for us to be part of such a great game is a privilege and we will go there and make it a spectacle indeed. There is so much at stake and we now have a chance to take off focus from the league and Saturday anything will happen. Just a different day but the pressure remains so high,” said Jacobs, whose Stars are one game away from winning the 2014/2015 league title.
