WINDHOEK – The Namibia Football Association (NFA) Introductory Coaching Course has been moved to July 13, 2015, due to the unavailability of instructors.

The NFA on Monday announced that the introductory coaching course, which was set for Eenhana and Windhoek this week, has been shifted to another date. The new deadline for prospective candidates for this course is now June 3, 2015.

The C-Licence course will however be conducted at Tsumeb and Windhoek from May 5 to 15, 2015. The course is open to coaches who are actively involved in the game such as school teachers and youth coaches.

The statement added that the C-Licence Coaching Course is also open to coaches who have attended the NFA or other beginners’ courses. The deadline for entries for the C-Licence Coaching Course is set for this Friday.

“For both sets of trainings, prospective coaches are urged to submit a typical football curriculum vitae, together with a recommendation letter from club, school or academy, two passport photos, as well as proof of payment for the course,” the NFA stressed in a statement.

The NFA C-Licence Coaching Course registration fee is N$450 while for the Introductory Coaching Course is N$200.
“The NFA coaching and licensing systems are the introductory parts of the C-licence course, while fitness and technical tests will also be conducted, and the programme also focuses on planning of a training session, the basic football techniques as well as shooting and warm-up programmes,” it further reads.
