WINDHOEK-The 19-year-old Magdalena Haipumbu from the Nehale Senior Secondary School in the Oshikoto region has been crown Miss High School Namibia 2015.

Vetondouua Kariazo who represented the Otjozondjupa region has been judged First Princess while Maureen Kamwanga, who represented the Karas region walk away with a Second Princess crown during a glittery beauty pageant that at the Franco-Namibian Cultural Centre (FNCC) on Saturday night. In 2013 Haipumbu was the winner of Miss Young Kasi and last year second princess in Miss High School North. Haipumbu is going to represent Namibia at the Miss High School America scheduled for April 4-5 in Orlando Florida in the United States of America (USA).

Miss High School Namibia Director, Suoma Nuunyango, says the pageant has been helping uplifting school performances around the country. Contestants came ten regions around the country and before the pageant they went on a project campaign task visiting local schools in their regions giving motivational speeches. They also visited orphanages to which they donated foods. Winners of the competition received certificates and hampers.
