WINDHOEK — Independent communications agency, Waggener Edstrom Communications (WE), recently announced six new strategic partners in Africa.
Core Public Relations, Corporate Talk Group, Exclamation Marketing Ltd, Hotwire PRC, Lift Consulting and XLR8 reinforce WE’s commitment to the fast-growing African continent and extend the agency’s service network to 18 new markets in Africa and more than 100 globally.
Africa has eight of the world’s 10 fastest growing economies, and across the continent the communications industry is poised for growth. Waggener Edstrom has engaged these strategic partners in Africa to meet increasing client demand for expanded communications programs.

Waggener Edstrom’s business in South Africa has grown over 35 percent per year since its inception five years ago. Johannesburg will serve as an African hub for clients in the region, including Nissan, SolarCentury and Microsoft.
New general manager James Wilson will lead efforts to integrate with partners as well as direct a number of existing pan-regional accounts across the continent.
Communications management consultancy XLR8 helps represent WE and its clients in Nigeria. Lift Consulting brings communications, public relations and media relations expertise in Angola, and Core Public Relations extends WE’s reach into Namibia.
Integrated communications agency Hotwire PRC brings its localized expertise in Botswana, Mozambique and Tanzania.
Corporate Talk Group provides coverage in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
Exclamation Marketing Ltd extends WE’s reach into additional markets including Rwanda to round out the coverage footprint.
