WINDHOEK-Franco Namibia Cultural Centre (FNCC) in collaboration with Institute Française, Protea Hotels Namibia and the Warehouse Theatre present the Under Kontrol live concert.
The Beatbox Team World Champions of 2009 are touring Africa and stopping over at the Werehouse Theatre for one night, June 3. Under Kontrol is a French combo made up of four beatboxers named MicFlow, Mr Lips, Tiko and Fayabraz. The four activists who were crowned beatbox world champions in 2009 have since then been multiplying on stage and off stage collaborations, always looking for new sounds and encounters. Live, all songs of the quartet become real scenes with several atmospheres supported by a light show calibrated to the millimetre. Watch out triple rhythmic somersault for a bluffing and explosive performance.
Under Kontrol published their first album entitled “1” last year, and their motto is “Strictly from the mouth”. It’s the very first album made with 100 percents Beatbox songs, meaning songs made with beatbox techniques only.
