The Oranjemund Golf Club will host the third leg of the Nedbank for Good Series on Saturday.
The series is aimed at creating awareness and providing assistance to a number of social charity organisations in different communities across the country.
This year, the series introduced the Rössing Foundation’s Mobile Laboratory for Science and Mathematics, where Nedbank committed an amount of N$250 000 towards the laboratory which supports education in English, mathematics and science.
“The mobile laboratory will be driving to different schools in the country which do not have easy access to education centres due to their remote locations,” reads a statement by Nedbank.
Nedbank for Good Series event organiser Dan Zwiebel is looking forward to the event, saying: “Oranjemund has an amazing golf course, a truly hidden gem and the hospitality shown last year was next to nothing. I have made some amazing friends and I am looking forward to returning”.
Zwiebel also said he will ensure all players have a noteworthy experience at the golf events.
“With support from CB Enterprises and Global 360 Distributors, we will be handing out a welcome gift upon arrival, and then prizes after the golf day will be proudly sponsored by Pupkewitz Megabuild. We will also have the winner of the men’s and ladies’ division qualify for the final to be played at the Omeya Golf Club on 06 October 2023,” he said.
