The first-ever Music and Art Festival is set to take place at the Sam Nujoma Stadium from 28 September till 2 October 2022.
The festival will serve as a great platform to showcase the talents of musical artists and promote their music, as well as be a fun way for people to come together and be entertained.
The five-day event further aims to promote homegrown talent by giving opportunities to local upcoming and acclaimed artists like Tate Buti, Manxebe, Miss Rose and Onesto to showcase their art along with South African rapper Costa Titch, Afrima Awards’ Best Artist 2021 Majoos from the DRC and ASAP Courry, amongst others.
“The festival was started for artists to get an opportunity to celebrate and promote their music in front of their fans,” said the organiser of the event, Tessaroni Hamalwa.
Traditional will meet contemporary music, which will be shared across two stages.
Audiences will be treated to live music, art competitions, dancing groups and surprise acts, along with stalls offering food, beverages and different kinds of art.
