KATIMA MULILO – Kangaroo Empire CC, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture in the Zambezi region, will host the region’s first ever education and career expo from 1 to 6 August 2022.
According to Kangaroo Empire representative Pasval Elijah, the career fair aims to give learners an opportunity to meet with institutional service providers to establish and discuss potential career paths and job opportunities with diverse market avenues.
Elijah further stated that there is a need for learners in the Zambezi region to be exposed to various career choices, given that the region has limited institutions of higher learning. “The expo aims at attracting school going learners, tertiary students, and school dropouts with the interest of furthering, learning, exploring and developing their skills. It also aims to attract different institutional service providers to showcase their products and services. This will include institutions like Unam, NUST, vocational training centres, Welwitschia, NQA, NASFAF and many more,” stated Elijah.
Elijah further said, ‘’to ensure growth and sustainability, we intend to have this as an annual event.” She also said stall applications are now available with prices ranging from N$3 500 for corporate institutions, N$2 500 for SMEs, and N$1 000 for kiddies and kapana sellers.
