The Namibia Estate Agents Board (NEAB) hosted an Induction Training on 04 February 2022 for candidates who passed the examination for aspiring estate agents. The Induction Training is part of the mandate of the NEAB as per the Estate Agents Act 112 of 1976 and is designed to provide the inductees with a practiced understanding of the estate agency industry.

Delivering the keynote address at the event, Executive Director in the Ministry of Industrialisation and Trade, Sikongo Haihambo told the inductees that a Namibia Property Practitioners Bill would be tabled soon to replace the estate Agents Act 112 of 1976.

Meanwhile, manager of the NEAB, Festus Unengu, addressed the inductees on the code of conduct for estate agents and the importance thereof. Unengu emphasised the importance of constant education and knowledge so that professional estate agents serve the public.

The NEAB invited speakers from the Financial Intelligence Centre, the Public Accountants and Auditors Board, the City of Windhoek and the Ministry of Industrialisation and Trade, under which the NEAB resorts, to give presentations to the inductees. The induction training is held after every NEAB examination.
