A night of cultural fusion, celebration

Alexander ‘DJ Siya’ Sikalumbu  launched his album ‘Ntuse’, meaning “help,” on Saturday night at The Loft in Windhoek. The album, consisting of 14 tracks, features collaborations with artists from various countries.

The launch took place during Zambezi Night, a tradition conceived by DJ Siya 12 years ago. This annual event showcases a vibrant fusion of traditional and modern music. The lineup for this year’s Zambezi Night included DJ Vuyo, King Tee Dee, Mr Makoya, Tru Senny, Kwaito Lager, Paul da Prince, Shenky Briz, DJ Kiki, and Dalom Kids from South Africa.

Zambezians attended the event dressed in traditional attire, including musisi dresses and chitenge (wrappers).
