Promoter Immanuel ‘AC’ Moses of AC Promotions proudly announced yesterday that Tryagain Ndevelo, a highly decorated amateur boxer, has officially joined his stable.
Ndevelo is set to make his professional debut on 29 March, as part of the exciting undercard for the WBO Africa Super Featherweight title bout, headlined by Flame ‘Special One’ Nangolo. The event will take place at the Roman Catholic Hall in Windhoek.
“AC Promotions is thrilled to have Ndevelo on board and is excited for the bright future ahead of him,” said Moses.
The boxer who is based in Walvis Bay and trains at the Albertus Tsamaseb Boxing Academy, said he is waiting for all the paper work to be done. Ndevelo’s career in amateur boxing has been nothing short of impressive. Throughout his journey, he has earned numerous accolades, including the 2016 Region 5 Youth Games: silver medalist, 2017 Youth Commonwealth Games: bronze medalist, 2018 Senior Commonwealth Games: gold medalist, 2019 All African Games: bronze medalist, 2023 Region 5 tournament: three-time gold medalist, 2024 Mandela Cup: competitor, 2024 World Olympic qualification: first-round participant, 2024 World Olympic qualification second-round: participant, 2024 African Championship: gold medalist among others.
