Hindjou underwent training in entrepreneurial studies and holds a Confederation of African Football (CAF) B Coaching Licence.
He is a former learner of Okahandja Secondary School.
Career
He is a retired footballer who was capped 25 times, including his stint at the 1998 African Cup of Nations, and scored several goals for the Namibia national football team, the Brave Warriors. Hindjou played for Liverpool Okahandja and Civics FC—winning the Namibia Premier League with both clubs—before retiring in 2007 after sometime with African Stars.
He is also a former coach of Okahandja Spoilers and Eleven Arrows. As coach, he won the 2011 edition of the Leo NFA Cup with coastal outfit Eleven Arrows, which is one of his biggest achievements of his career as a football mentor. With that victory Hindjou steered Arrows to their first NFA Cup since Namibia’s independence.
