First National Bank’s Corporate Social Investment through the FNB Foundation yesterday donated N$50 000 towards the government’s food bank programme. Chairperson of the foundation Clara Bohitile announced to President Hage Geingob that the institution also availed N$50 000 towards the President’s Winter Charity drive. The bank also donated N$1 million to the Erongo Regional Council to mitigate the devastating effects of drought farmers face in that part of the country. At the handover of the replica cheque to President Geingob were, from left, Sarel van Zyl, CEO of FNB Holdings, trustee member Prince Shiimi, Clara Bohitile, President Geingob and Bolle Hans, the manager responsible for public sector banking.
