The police in the Hardap Region are asking the public to assist with information that could lead to the re-arrest of a trial-awaiting prisoner, Ananias Kapangelwa, who is also known as K-Boy. He is wanted in connection with a case of housebreaking.
Hardap police spokesperson Sergeant Linea Heita on Thursday said the man escaped last Friday, while he was about to be taken to the Mariental Magistrate’s Court for continuation of his trial.
Kapangelwa is Oshiwambo-speaking and 1. 75m tall, Heita said.
