The Commercial Crime Investigation Division of the Namibian Police is urgently requesting the public to assist in tracing the whereabouts of Charles Winston Manale, 32.
Manale a former Standard Bank employee is being sought by the police for questioning in connection with N$4 million he allegedly embezzled from Standard Bank.
It is alleged Manale defrauded Standard Bank Namibia by fraudulently transferring N$4 million to his personal account.
Manale has not been reporting at his employer since December 28 last year and all efforts to trace him proved unsuccessful as he seems to have vanished into thin air.
A case of fraud has been registered, investigations are ongoing and police are requesting anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact Detective Chief Inspector Ndabeni at 061-2093493 or 081 274 3479 alternatively Detective Sergeant Nderura on 081 238 9777.
