To develop the children’s reading capacity, the Franco Namibian Cultural Centre (FNCC) continues hosting free storytelling hour sessions for children aged six to eleven years.

Storyteller Moseline Kavetu will be reading a story about the life of animals in Namibia, at the FNCC Library this Saturday at ten O’clock in the morning (10h00). Story telling is centered on different themes and important dates on the calendar fitting them into the Namibian context. The sessions are to encourage reading and help children understand that good reading skills are important for success in their future.

The last storytelling session was on the occasion of  father’s day when storyteller Ndataneka Kapunda read a story of how important fathers are to their children and how children must treasure every pleasured time spent with their fathers. The ttorytelling hour sessions are free and all children are welcome to attend.
