Esmerelda Majiedt admitted this morning in the High Court that she defrauded Afrisam with an amount of N $ 56.5 million. In light of her plea, the state decided to stop the prosecution of her co-accused five. Consequently, she was found guilty on 397 charges of fraud and her bail was canceled.
