WINDHOEK– Fifteen fashion designers from all over Namibia are to host a memorable fashion show, The 2015 Fashion Show, on December 27 at Bennies Entertainment Park in Ongwediva.
The event is aimed at creating awareness among local designers and models, says Maila Kalipi, one of the event organisers. “They come from all corners of Namibia to entertain northern Namibia with over the top gowns, exocentric prints and sophisticated garments. They aim to display their own predictions on what will be trending in the year 2015,” says Kalipi. Designers expected to bring full excitement to the show are Matthew Erastus, Hamby Nendoga, Immanuel Garoeb, Beauty Iyambo, Tuyakula Shikomba, Maila Kalipi, Vicky Shipanga, Ruth Nghono, Puma Kasuo Shinene , Jennifer Madawa Uises ,Naomi Nambinga and Sophia Nendongo.
Kalipi adds that this year it is bigger and better. Tickets are available at the door at N$60 standard and N$100 for VIPs and N$20 parking fees is to be paid at the gate. Doors are expected to open at 19h00 and the show is to start at 20h00.
