WINDHOEK – TransNamib Bowling Club managed to retain their title as the best bowlers in the capital after winning the 2014 Windhoek League in emphatic style.
The Windhoek League sees three teams from each of the four Windhoek based clubs play in a round robin over four weekends. From the onset TransNamib have had selectors at the other clubs scratching their heads, as they continued to stretch their lead after each round.
Final Standings:
TransNamib Bowling Club – 97
Eros Bowling Club – 65
Windhoek Country Club – 59
Windhoek Bowling Club – 19
The victory arrives on top of TransNamib clinching the National League earlier in the year and concludes a very successful season for the club. The new bowling season kicks off towards the end of February next year.
