REHOBOTH – The final Bank Windhoek Namibian Bass Angling Association (NBAA) competition took place at Oanob Dam, west of Rehoboth in the Hardap Region last weekend.
Veteran angler Neels van Tonder was the proud winner, tailed by Duan Kotze who also caught the biggest bass weighing 3.5kg, while the evergreen Sonja Pienaar once again showed her mettle with a fishing rod to catch the biggest bass in the ladies section.
Despite the strong winds which made fishing difficult, the event was a huge success.
