WINDHOEK– Amid the peace of Avis Dam, Wordweaver Publishing House launched it’s first fantasy novel, written by award winning author, Noreen Arangies.
Keepers of Equilibria is aimed at children aged ten years and up but can be enjoyed by adults as it explores environmental issues, as well as how diversity can actually be a strength. It is a fast-paced, fun book, with interesting characters and unique situations.
At the launch, Noreen Arangies spoke passionately about how important it is for children to develop a love of reading, and how local publishing and local stories are playing their part in achieving this goal. This is Noreen’s second book. Her first book, The Most Important Book, was published by Wordweaver Publishing House in 2012 and won a gold award at the Namibia Children’s Book Forum.
The book is available at book stores countrywide, and also directly from Wordweaver, Diehl Street, Southern Industrial, Windhoek. The Keepers of Equilibria is Wordweaver’s 25th book.
