WINDHOEK – Judging by the heated war of words at yesterday’s press briefing, this coming weekend’s highly anticipated ‘Final Punch To The World Title’ Boxing Bonanza is expected to deliver nothing but blood, sweat and tears when action unfolds at the Katutura Independence Arena.

First to fire the warning salvo was Paulus ‘The Hitman’ Moses’ Brazilian opponent Josenilson Dos Santos, who said Saturday’s fight will be a perfect stepping stone to greater things and promised to go all out in dispatching the Namibian when they clash for the World Boxing Organisation (WBO) international lightweight title.

Also in the mix was Tyson Ushona’s opponent Dario Pucheta from Argentina, who challenges the Namibian in an international welterweight fight over 10 rounds of action. Pucheta promised to pour hell fire on Ushona, saying he is on a mission and losing will not be an option.

Completing the lineup was Vikapita ‘Beast Master’ Meroro’s Argentinean opponent Walter David Cabral, who had this to say: “I’m in fine shape as I’m coming from a win, so I expect things to be easy on Saturday. I have fought some of the best heavyweights around the world and I know what to expect, so winning will not be a problem,” cautioned Cabral.

The official weigh-in and face-off for all boxers featuring in this weekend’s extravaganza takes place today at the Post Street Mall at 11h00, where the general public will be accorded an opportunity to interact with the boxers and also get to win tickets. Entrance fee is N$500 for VIP tickets and N$100 for general tickets at all Computicket outlets.
