African Finest Culture and Fashion Show

Home Time Out African Finest Culture and Fashion Show

WINDHOEK-The second annual African Finest Culture and Fashion Show at the Hilton Hotel last Saturday astonished spectators with garments re-imagined  from used, re-used and recycled items worn by gorgeous and sensuous models.

International designers and models showed what they are capable of exhibiting their talents and revealing their creativities to a large crowd. The hall was crowded by fashion lovers who kept their enthusiastic excitement marvelling at both the creative of the designs and the showmen- and womenship of the models.

The most creative concept was that of Towa Mungadi, with her Social Butterfly designs, a fun and flirty clothing brand, a trendy and sometimes over the top brand built to inspire women (and men) of all shapes and sizes which opened the show. Sean Cloete was up next with his remarkable creation of short dresses and skirts completed with sunglasses and hats. His collection is good for summer time. Melisa Poultin collections also ensured one of the most exciting moments of the show. The models in tight-fitting fabulous black bodices and black full-skirt could not be anything else but glamour and beauty. Not to forget Eva Miarka, who is also the founder and organiser of the fashion show, with her stunning and shining bright collections resembling diamonds.

Swakara closed the fashion show with its expensive outfits and handbags to loud applauses of “Swakara”. Swakara is renowned for its lightness, silkiness and variety; the preferred choice of designers, for its fabric quality.

Marvin kept the audience entertained with for the whole entire time, of course he did not disappoint either.
