WINDHOEK-Brian Kandabo, has been crowned as Mr Ogongo Campus and Miss Ongongo.
Brian is a first year Higher Diploma in Agriculture at the University of Namibia (Unam) Ogongo Campus and Ruusa a second year Higher Diploma in Agriculture.The event, described as one of the best ever hosted in the North, included a host of entertainment activities. Different upcoming artists from the North could not but surprise the guests. According to the Ogongo Student Representative Council (SRC) President, Loth Hamukoto, D-kids were one of the well received artists who did not disappoint and everyone saluted them. Ray and Lando kept the cloud entertained when they performed their new songs. Young Kasi’s proved who they really are with their energetic moves. Blacksheep also gave a massive performance cautioning students about alcohol abuse with the song Omalodu, Oshiwambo for alcohol. Hamukoto says the show could not end on a high than with Gazza performing in his third and last song on the night.
“This was the best ever event on Ogongo Campus, no fighting or criminal act recorded, it was well free, we thank Shilimela Security Company, Chippa Trading Enterprise, Black excellence, Etambi Bottle store, Omulaule investment, Ours Bar, Spar Oshakati, and a lot that make this event successful,” says Hamukoto.
