WINDHOEK-Two leading local Kwaito artists, Gazza and The Dogg’s collaboration album is the new ground-breaking thrilling news from the two Namibian music icons.
For the past few weeks, the social networks have been abuzz when The Mshasho CEO, Knowledge Iipinge posted on his Facebook fan page, advising people to buy their original copies of The Dogg and Gazza’s collaboration album schedule to be released end of this month. Although Ipinge did not say much, he however confirmed that the album will be released.
On one of his Facebook updates, Ipinge states “The Dogg and Gazza will release a collaboration album end of August. Namibia will get an early Christmas this year. Make sure to get your copy and tell a friend to tell a friend. #NamibiaStandUp,”Gazza says they are the biggest names on the local music when it comes to the fan base, recognition and selling and working with The Dogg will be part of his history. “All the songs are done already and we are planning releasing a ten-track album,” says Gazza.
He adds that the title of the album has not been decided on yet but this will be great news for both Mshasho and GMP fans. “It is time we do things in an adults’ way, and if we can work on an album together, everything is possible,” he says.
