TSUMEB –Anne-Marie Nainda, Commissioner of the Oshikoto Regional Police Office, yesterday extended a big vote of thanks to Spar Supermarket Tsumeb, for coming on board as the main sponsor, of the Oshikoto Police team for the upcoming Nampol National Sports Championships, slated for the 20th this month in Keetmanshoop.
Spar donated kits to the police’s pool, soccer and volleyball men and women teams. Although Spar Tsumeb is the police headline sponsor, other sponsors such as Tulipamwe, Bank Windhoek Tsumeb, Namfo, Power-line Africa, Pupkewitz Toyota Tsumeb, Zoganas and Dundee Precious Metals Tsumeb also came on board.
“Although I am not the biggest sports fan in the world, we at Spar believe in community development and will do anything in our power to render support where we can” said Theo Kitching of Spar Tsumeb.
“I want to say thank you to all our sponsors, without them this would not have been possible. Our teams promised to do their best and if they do not win they will surely learn from their mistakes and eventually do better”. said Nainda.
