DTA president McHenry Venaani yesterday announced that he would be squatting in Ombili informal settlement of Katutura from last night until tomorrow. Venaani, a resident of Hochland Park, said the move would enable him to interact with the community, especially on the issue of land and housing. “I will be staying in a shack with no water and no electricity during this period, in which I will be living as a normal member of the Ombili community, commuting to and from work in a taxi for all thse days,” Venaani, who is expected to run for the country’s presidency in November, said on Facebook.
