WINDHOEK – Unwavering support from Namibians will be one of the crucial ingredients if the Baby Warriors are to perfect their winning formula in the 2nd leg of the 2015 CAF Under-17 qualifier against Mozambique, at the Sam Nujoma Stadium  tomorrow.

This is according to Warriors captain Sylvanus Endjala, whose side is aiming to reach the next stage of the qualifiers by building on their 1st leg 1-all draw in Mozambique two weeks ago.

“We have come a long way and all my teammates know what is at stake tomorrow. We are glad to be tasked with putting Namibia on the map and I’m confident we can do the  job – all we really need is the nation’s support.

In Mozambique, they packed the stadium and still we came through, and now we need our people to believe in us and support the team,’’ said Endjala, adding that all players are injury-free.

“We have the right attitude and coaches and everyone behind the scenes has been very helpful. This is our moment and we will not get carried away,” says the 15-year-old Endjala who plays second division football for City Boys in Khomas Region.

Team coach Timothy Tjongarero said: “We know it’s World Cup time, but please make time and come support the team and see what they are made of. This team is very promising and we need your full support in tomorrow’s match.”

The full squad is as follows: Giovanni Nauseb, Masutuye Ngunovandu, Romanus Jacobs, Simon Hautoni, Sylvanus Endjala, Ronald Zaaahl, Augutinius Hobexab, Brenton Kotungondo, Hashinditila Ngolo, Marc Sauls, Venovineja Tjikundi, Dwayne Swartz, Petrus Kamati, Tuhafeni Leonard, Ricardo Jassie, Pollen Hameva, Matias Nauta and Johannes Naiteta.

The game starts at 15h00 and entrance is free.
