Windhoek-You have got to give credit to a man who admits his wrong doings and accepts his mistakes because not every man is man enough to admit his wrong doing. We live in a world where pride gets in the way of living, and which negatively impacts the way of life.
Naftalie Amukwelele a.k.a D-Naff talks about his past with so much disgust. He claims his past is not something to be proud of. “My past is full of hurt and pain; I have caused pain to others and to myself”. He was married before for only four months which left with him with a broken heart that took him four years to heal. After his ex-wife left him, he went on a drinking spree from bar to bar dating different women hoping to find peace and love. “I was a player, a gangster; it was not safe for anyone to be around me. I robbed and I raped at will. D-Naff attribute his redemption to Apostle H.B.Goroh of the Jesus Centre whom he claims changed his life. “I rededicated my life back to Christ and that is how God blessed me with even a better wife, the lovely Dainess Ziba from Zambia.”
“Now I am a husband and a father to my wonderful children. I am a role model. I work for my family and contribute to the music industry, ” he confesses adding that family comes first, “and I will protect my family with my life”. The gospel artist says he is working on a book of inspiration called Eschatology, which he says will soon be available to the public, “ but in the meantime the public can read short topics from the upcoming book on my Facebook profile”.
“The book contains a lot of inspirations to motivate and inspire the masses, who are at the edge of giving up on life. I cover all topics related to day to day activities, the spirit behind music and fame and how it controls the music industry. “D-Naff defines a real man as one who loves, protects and provides for his family and this is who he claims to be. “A real man is not one who fails; he will live to fight another day and wins. Sex does not make a real man, character does.”
