WINDHOEK-Tulina Ndafyaalako also known as Young T,  is tonight performing at Miss Rise Hope College in  Walvis Bay.

He  is accompanied by Omulunga Radio’s Presenter, Dj Fessy. Next weekend he also promises to thrill quests at Infinity Lounge in Swakopmund. A music producer, composer, director and singer at the same time, he says he spends most of his time helping different local talents in the studio, and it’s about time to unleash his massive and brand new project, a debut studio album to be titled Philosophical Page, expected early June. Young T says he produced the whole album himself under his own label, Underground Unit. His upcoming album features local artists  Sunny Boy, Tequila, KT Sackey, D-Blood, Iron Man, Eddy K, Tulisan, Patrick, Dion and the The Dogg.

“My upcoming album is fresh and unique. It is something different to what is done in the industry before by many artists. I mixed it with different genres just to make it sound more African,” he says.  His hit single Ehaka, released earlier this year, has been making a serious buzz on local radio stations and social networks such as You Tube and Sound Cloud, attracting more listeners. Young T says spending most of  his time in the studio gave him an edge for a fresh and unique music style and genre, a mixture of Shambo, Hip Hop and Afro Pop. “All I want is for my fans to keep requesting my Ehaka single on local radio stations to get a foretaste of my music while the final product is coming,” T proudly entices.

Under his label, he has  produced for big names such as Sunny Boy’s in the song 50/50 Love song, Satlam’s songs What is Kwaito, and Ndeku Yuulukwa, featuring Patrick.  “I started producing and singing in 2009, and through hard work and dedication, I got to a remarkable level in the industry and gained my spot in the recording industry,” he says. He adds that singing and producing is vital because one can get more opportunities. He also advises upcoming artists to work with producers with more experience.
