WINDHOEK – The six-day Namib Quest mountain bike stage race gets underway in the capital on Sunday and ends 6 days later in the coastal town of Swakopmund.

The route passes through the rugged mountains of the Khomas Hochland, dropping down through the transition plateau into the famous Namib desert and includes parts of the Namib Naukluft Park. Riders will have the privilege of passing through areas that are essentially closed to the general public. The two-member Old Mutual team will be represented by Fanna Lambert and Gustav Bauer.
