WINDHOEK – The burning question of whether MTC Premiership giant-killers Tura Magic will launch a late challenge for the coveted league title will be answered tonight when Timo Tjongarero’s unpredictable outfit trot onto the field to confront the equally dangerous Civics.
Civics and Tura Magic lock horns in a mid-table clash at the Sam Nujoma Stadium in Windhoek tonight at 19h00. Both teams are perched in decent positions far away from the relegation zone, but would like to finish as high as possible while the Katutura big four fight it out for the number one spot come end of the season. Both teams have been blowing hot and cold manufacturing remarkable results against the title contenders only to stumble against lesser opponents, where they were expected to collect maximum points. With only 5 matches left before the curtain comes down on the 2013/2014 MTC Premiership season, Christy Guruseb’s charges are sitting on 24 points a mere point adrift of Tura Magic and both teams can mathematically still win the elusive league title should other results go their way.
