WINDHOEK– The Theatre Sports crew invites you to come and suggest original alter ego’s for local personalities at the Franco-Namibian Cultural Centre (FNCC) Cinema next Thursday.
Just so you know an alter ego is a second self, a second personality within a person like for instance Nerdy Clark Kent’s alter ego is Superman. Beyoncé becomes Sasha Fierce. Dr. Jekyll became Mr. Hyd, with murderous consequences. At times we all need another persona to express different facets of our personality. Who would your alter ego be? The Theatre Sports crew says the audience can expect an evening of wacky improvised comedy, created by your brilliant suggestions. Theatre Sports is interactive, improvised theatre based on suggestions from the audience. There’s no way of knowing what to expect. Two teams compete against one another and the audience gets to decide the winner or join in. Theatre Sports is performed by University of Namibia (Unam) Drama students, as well as members from the Theatre School All Stars team. The show is facilitated by Tanya Terblanche.
The event will start at Seven O’clock (19H00) and tickets are available for N$30 in advance and N$40 at the door at the FNCC.
