WINDHOEK – Immanuel ‘Prince’ Naidjala, who lost his World Boxing Organization (WBO) Africa Bantamweight title against incumbent WBO world champion Tomoki Kameda earlier this year, is positive that he will reclaim the vacant African title when he squares off against Francis Miyeyusho of Tanzania, at the Windhoek Country Club Hotel on April 5.

This will be Naidjala’s first fight following his unfortunate loss to Kameda in Japan where he put up a splendid display against the Japanese world champion and earned respect from boxing fans all over the world. Naidjala, who held both the WBO Africa Bantamweight and the IBF International Bantamweight titles will be eager to reclaim his African crown, but he will first have to negotiate his way past Miyeyusho, who goes into the fight with an impressive record of 49 fights, 37 wins, 10 losses and only 2 draws.

Tickets are already on sale for N$ 100 per ticket and VIP tables are available for N$10 000, which includes complimentary snacks and soft drinks and are available at all Computicket outlets in Shoprite/Checkers and Woerman Brock stores countrywide. Due to the limited size of the venue boxing fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets in advance to avoid disappointment, said Nestor Tobias who spoke from Newcastle in the UK. Tobias is accompanying his fighter Sacky Shikukutu who is to fight British opponent Frankki Gavin for the Commonwealth Welterweight title this coming Saturday.
