WINDHOEK
-Sensational young singer, Ndinelago Amunime, aka Tinggi, made her moves on the local music scene when she recorded her first hit song On Stage earlier this year.

She says the song was recorded in January this year under the newly established project, Elombe Art Academy (EAA)in Ongwediva at Ndexland Production. “The single is not yet out but I am receiving more encouragement, especially from my families, friends and my supporters whenever I give them a song to listen to it. They keep on motivating me and telling me to continue with my singing as it will take me far.  I will release the song on all radio stations in Namibia by the end of next week, and currently looking forward to work on my first hip-hop album end of this year,” she says.

Born and raised in Windhoek 20 years ago, and based in Oshakati presently, Tinggi describes herself as a new kid on the block when it comes to Namibian Hip Hop genre. She sings about what she experienced in life and what is happening around on a daily basis. She adds that she started writing music at the tender age of 13 years when she was just a school kid. “With my thrilling voice, I want to uplift Namibia Hip-Pop scene, I have a feeling that most Namibian female artists are no more interested in the Hip-Pop music, thus I am trying all my best to make it one of the most loved genre in Namibia,” she says.

Apart from music itself, Tinggi also has a passion for modeling and acting. She encourages the youth to stand on their own feet and uplift their talents. “Let’s all work together and we will be tomorrow’s leaders. We must also study hard to become job creators but not the job seekers” Tinggi concludes.
