WINDHOEK On Thursday, February 23 in Malthahohe at the Daweb School Hall, the director of the Franco-Namibian cultural center, SÃÆ’Æ‘Æ‘ÃÆ”šÃ‚©bastien Lanoye delivered musical instruments to the value of N$36,752 to the Oruuano of Namibian artists Union for the Hardap and Karas regions. These instruments will be used for empowerment of artists through Arts education. This will also include school-going children interested in learning arts with the aim of preparing them to further their studies through the relevant arts institutions. They will be under the care of the Oruuano coordinators in the specific towns’ schools. Oruuano of Namibian artists Union is “therefore pleased and hopes that the relationship with the FNCC will be strengthened for many years for their support for the Namibian Artists, not only musicians, but also for other disciplines”.
