By Frederick Philander WINDHOEK THE band Alliez with the successful tune, You and Me, and Me and You, will be temporarily based and performing at the coast as from today until after the festive season. The two-man band consists of Oye Katuta and Al Horton, both accomplished and versatile singers and guitar players. They will be musically entertaining and be playing the coastal restaurant scene at Walvis Bay and Swakopmund. Said Al: :”Last month we launched our new CD, El Paradiso and we also produced a video clip that has already been screened on a local television channel. Apart from our own songs we also play many classics and construct our performances to suit audiences, be it restaurant settings or dance evenings. Our repertoire covers anything from ballads to rock-n-roll,” Horten said. The duo will be performing at the Lighthouse and Tiger Reef Bar in Swakopmund and at the Walvis Bay Yacht Club on New Year’s Eve.
