Pan African superstars, AKA and Roberto will join Namibians, Chikune, Ann Singer, Matongo Family and over 30 other stars in action at the Namibian Annual Music Awards (NAMA) grand awards ceremony in Windhoek.

The most anticipated event of the year, is on the horizon and in no less than two weeks, Windhoek City and Ramatex will be ablaze as the splendour and  grandeur  of fashion, blends with the electricity of music and unconventionality of arts for two nights of unforgettable kaleidoscopic extravaganza.  With the introduction this year of the first ever inclusion of the ‘Best Pan African Artist of the Year’ category, two of the Pan African nominees are confirmed to attend and perform at this years stellar show. Both South African Hip-Hop suerstars, AKA, and Zambia’s chart topping singer-songwriter, Roberto, have been confirmed to perform alongside some of Namibia’s heavyweight stars such as The Dogg, Gazza, Freeda, Big Ben, 4X4, Exit, Chikune, Matongo Family, Lize Ehlers and over 30 other stars at the Saturday show on April 30 at Ramatex, Windhoek.

#NAMA2016 will also see Namibia’s biggest stars representative from across all major popular Namibian music genres come together for one unforgettable weekend of celebration, including the best of Namibian stars such as Ann Singer, Desmond, Kk, Oteya, Kalux, Female Donkey, Diop, Bertholdt Mbinda, The Multi Talented, Lady May, Lmpc, the return of Matongo Family, Denzo No Stress & Stupet Jones, Valentino, Hilifa 94, Kp Illest, N I A, 3db, Msunday And J.S, Tabakans. More surprise performance announcements have been promised by the organisers. “Putting together a production of the highest quality such as the NAMAs, it is my belief that it must be match in equal measures when it comes to the performance line up, and in presenting you this stellar line up of trend-setting and chart-topping artists from Namibia, and the rest of the continent, speaks of one thing, that the NAMAss is well on track if not already to become the biggest musical showpiece on the African continent,” notes NAMAs chairperson, Tim Ekandjo.

Ekandjo has in the meantime confirmed that tickets for #NAMA2016 are now available with VIP tickets selling for N$500 while standard tickets go for N$250 and Golden Circle standing tickets are available for N$120 per person. Early ticket buyers will receive a N$50 discount across all types of tickets until the Sunday April 24.  Thereafter all tickets will revert to regular pricing.
